Fun Fact
Common nighthawks and chimney swifts can be seen in the park at dawn or dusk. The nighthawks, which are declining in number, breed on city rooftops. The chimney swifts, not suprisingly, breed in chimneys.

Join the Green Team!

From May through August, the Green Team, our volunteer stewardship team, provides hands-on carNY Cares groupe for Brooklyn Bridge Park.  Be a part of the fun!

You will provide critical care and maintenance for the Main Street section of the park. Get your hands dirty by weeding, planting, pruning, mulching flower beds, and cleaning the shoreline. Beautiful sunsets and incredible views included!

The Green Team meets every Tuesday. See our Calendar of Events for weekly updates.
If you plan on volunteering, please RSVP to rsvp@bbpc.net.
